DESCRIPTION:2019 Business Expo\n\n \nThe Lubbock Chamber of Commerce is excited to kick off 2019 with the largest business to business tradeshow on the South Plains. The Business Expo\, presented by American National Bank\, is an annual event that will be held on Thursday\, January 24th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.\, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.\n\nThe Business Expo showcases more than 200 exhibitors and welcomes approximately 7\,000 attendees. Exhibitors will enjoy a private networking event from 9 to 10 a.m. before the doors open. This allows businesses the opportunity to develop a more personal relationship with the companies who could become their next client all while creating new connections to heighten overall success. We hope to see you there!!\n\n\n\nHealth & Wellness Zone\n\nAfter popular demand the Business Expo will be bringing back the Health & Wellness Zone! This area will be located in the Pedstrian Mall and will list your business's name on signage at the Business Expo! Only a limited number of spaces are available so contact the Chamber today if you would like to be located in the Health & Wellness Zone!\nBusiness Expo Seminar Series\n\n\n\n10:30 a.m. - Time Tested Tips\, Triumphs & Tribulations\n\nPresented by: Melissa Grimes\, Lloyd Caballero & Shara Konechney\n\nThis interactive panel of local\, long-time business owners will share tips and lessons learned over the decades that has helped their business remain relevant and successful over the decades. The panel will include Melissa Grimes\, Studio West\; Lloyd Caballero\, RD Thomas Advertising\; and Shara Konechney\, Piper. The panel will discuss what worked\, what didn't\, and what they wished someone would've told them years ago on how to obtain long-term career success. \n\n\n\n2:30 p.m. - How to Attract & Retain Top Talent\n\nPresented by: Brandon Mulkey - Chick-fil-A 69th & Slide and 82nd & Milwaukee\n\nHow to Attract and Retain Talent: According to research presented in the book 'Talent Magnet' by Mark Miller\, top talent looks for three things in an organization: better boss\, a brighter future\, and a bigger vision. Join Brandon Mulkey as he discuss the very successful Chick-fil-A talent strategy.
