DESCRIPTION:The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will hold the 2019 Community Prayer Lunch on Thursday\, May 2nd at 11:30 a.m. at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center.\n\n \n\nThe luncheon will feature keynote speaker Rev. Charles Foster Johnson\, co-pastor of Bread\, a faith community in Fort Worth\, Texas. Throughout his forty-year pastoral ministry he has served churches in Mississippi\, Kentucky and Texas\, including Second Baptist church of Lubbock from 1989 to 2001.\n\n \n\nThe luncheon\, presented by United Supermarkets\, is held each year in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer. Local business leaders will offer prayers for the nation\, state\, community and families.\n\n \n\nSponsorships opportunities for this event are still available. More information is available by contacting the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce at (806) 761-7000 or by emailing Christye Weld at Christye.Weld@lubbockbiz.org. Tickets are on sale until Monday\, April 29th at 5 p.m.
