DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Young Professionals Lunch with a Leader featuring George McMahan!\n\nGeorge H. McMahan\, who many will remember as the long time owner of Honda of Lubbock\, is the developer of Bacon Crest\, Primrose Pointe\, the Estates at Vintage and is currently working on Centerpointe on North University by the future Lubbock County EXPO Center.\n\nGeorge is married to his wife of fifty-seven years\, Linda. They have two children -Wayne and Julie. Wayne is currently taking care of the family ranch at Smithville\, Texas near Austin. Julie was owner and operator of the Four Paws Pet Resort\, a luxury pet boarding facility but has closed it and is working on re-purposing it\; she is also a past President of the WTHBA Auxiliary.\n\nGeorge is a member of the West Texas Homebuilders Association and is a Past President\; he also serves on the Developer's Council. \n\nWhile a motorcycle dealer\, he served as President of the Texas Motorcycle Dealer Association\, and was recently awarded the "Woody Leone Lifetime Achievement Award" for his continued dedication to the motorcycle sport.\n\nBefore forming George McMahan Development\, LLC\, he served as President of the Texas State Championship Enduro Circuit for four years. George McMahan Development was chosen by the Chamber as the "Business of the Year" for 2015. Just recently he and Linda were honored by the Community\n\nFoundation of West Texas as their "Community Heroes of 2017". George served 4 years on the Texas Tech Foundation Board and is currently serving on the Reese Redevelopment Board. Linda is serving on the Texas Tech Alumni Association National Board\, they are both members of the Texas Tech Silver Spur and the Silver Buckle Society.\n\nGeorge still actively rides motorcycles\, ATV's\, and dirt bikes and they enjoy traveling\n\nin their RV\, and spending time at the ranch.
