DESCRIPTION:Don't miss the all new seminar Chamber University: "The Trenches of Teamwork\," that will be held on November 6\, at Workforce Solutions South Plains on 1301 Broadway\, in Suite 201. Texas Tech Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt\, Director of Training and Development for Covenant Knipling Education Conference Center\, Heather Smith\, and Executive Coach at Spirit Ranch\, Mark Persall\, will be the keynote speakers for this event. They will be giving presentations on how teamwork has helped them find success\, and how you and your business can also find success through teamwork. Kirby Hocutt will be giving a presentation on how to overcome obstacles within a team\, Heather Smith will be enlightening attendees on how to better work as a team with their coworkers\, and Mark Persall will be discussing diversity within teams. There will also be a question and answer period at the end of each presentation.Chamber University will also award certificates for Continuing Education Units for those interested. This seminar will award .3 credit of 1 CEU (3 out of 10 hours). If you wish to sign up for a CEU credit\, please call the Chamber of Commerce. Registration is open until 5 p.m. Nov.\, 5. Changes to your reservation may be made until 5 p.m. Nov.\, 5. If you are unable to attend\, you may send another representative in your place.The doors open at 8 a.m. with a complimentary breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A.
