DESCRIPTION:Our immensely popular coding contest from last year is back! We?re challenging ninjas to bring their coding chops and creativity to develop their own video game for a chance to win fantastic prizes locally and nationally!\n\nKids will work in teams of two to build games in Scratch\, a block-based visual programming language. Games will be judged on creativity\, originality\, quality\, theme\, and functionality.\n\nThe highest scoring team will win vouchers for a free weeklong camp the local level\, and go on to compete against other top teams from across the country to win even more great prizes -- including 3D printers and robots.\n\nTeams must have some knowledge of the Scratch programming language to participate\, but that can be gained by participating in the Code Ninjas Hour of Code event earlier in the week.
