DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Petersburg Day celebration will be on September 28 this year.  Our theme  is: "Petersburg-We are outstanding in our field". There are several exciting\, fun events planned on that weekend.\n\n\n\nCall Cindy Porter at 806-787-4540 for more information about the day's activities. \n\n\n\nOn Friday night\, September 27\, we will have our homecoming game with a fundraiser meal to be served beforehand at 5:30 at the school cafeteria.  Then the homecoming game and festivities will begin at 7:00.\n\n\n\nThe next morning\, at 9:00 a.m. a veteran and military appreciation ceremony will take place on the plaza in downtown Petersburg\, then the parade will begin at 10:30.\n\n\n\nThe community center will be the site of several other activities. The Buffalo chip motorcycle fun run starts at 11:30 as well as a car show\, vendors\, and a meal at the community center.  Then at 1:00 there will be a kickball tournament held at the baseball field.\n\n\n\nCome join us this year as we celebrate our heritage and look forward to our future because we are "outstanding in our field!"
