DESCRIPTION:Join us for the reveal of this year's Gingerbread House benefitting the Texas Boys Ranch!\n\n \n\nFor the 5th consecutive year\, The Overton Hotel is building arguably Lubbock's Largest Gingerbread House in an effort to collect donations for the Texas Boys Ranch this holiday season. There will be an official "unveiling" on Friday December 2nd at 2:00pm in the Overton Hotel Lobby.\n\n Executive Chef Doug Noxon and General Manager Kurt Metcalf will be joined by John Sigle\, President of the Texas Boys Ranch and his staff at 2:00pm to officially open the Gingerbread House to the public this holiday season. The house is available for anyone to view between December 2nd and December 31st. Donations to the Texas Boys Ranch can be made at the Overton Hotel's main desk by purchasing either a $5 Decoration or a $100 Corporate Sponsorship.  Additional donations can be made by purchasing specialty desserts and beverages at the Pecan Grill.\n\n\n\n \n\nThis year's design combines over 5\,000 pieces of gingerbread and more calories than you can count.  Our Executive Chef Doug Noxon and Executive Sous Chef Montie Hinton started the design back in September and the Overton culinary team spends close to 200 hours completing the design.\n\n *Lubbock Chamber of Commerce official Ribbon Cutting at 2:00pm\, Speakers from the Overton Hotel and Texas Boys Ranch\, 2:15pm.
