DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating the TTUHSC - CMHC Montford Art Exhibit!\n\nThe TTUHSC Correctional Managed Health Care (CMHC) department is a part of the School of Medicine. Through the CMHC department\, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) partners with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to provide medical and mental health services to the state incarcerated population. \n\nAt the John T. Montford Psychiatric Unit\, TTUHSC CMHC provides inpatient mental health services. In addition\, the Montford  Western Regional Medical Facility provides medical services\, including long-term\, specialty\, and chronic care. \n\nAs the inpatient psychiatric facility\, the patients are provided mental health services through various modalities. As part of May as Mental Health Month\, the use of expressive arts as part of therapeutic service is being highlighted through the patient art exhibit.
