2019 TRC - Harvest Luncheon
Description
This is the "crown jewel event" of the Agriculture Committee. The Harvest Luncheon celebrates agriculture by featuring current issues. This is a great opportunity for your business to show your support for the agricultural industry and its impact on the local and regional economy.
The Harvest Luncheon presented by FiberMax-BASF will celebrate agriculture in the local economy with a panel focused on "Tariffs, Tear Gas, and Team Work: Tales from the Trade Trenches".
The moderator will be Tom Sell, Combest, Sell & Associates, and the panelists include Tim Lust, National Sorghum Producers; Kody Bessent, Plains Cotton Growers; and local farmer, Dale Artho.
The panel will share past triumphs and tribulations the agriculture industry has faced over the years as well as discuss current effects and challenges the industry continues to see due to the current China trade negotiations and the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
