About Wade:
Wade Wilson was born in Post, Texas in 1958 and raised in Lubbock, where he and his wife Debbie currently reside. Married since 1978, they have three daughters. A graduate of Coronado High School (Class of 1977), Wade earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1982. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Licensed Personal Financial Planner.
Wade spent his entire career with Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert and Moss, LLP—one of the top 400 accounting firms in the U.S.—retiring as a partner in 2019. His work focused on auditing financial statements for rural utilities, with an emphasis on telecommunications and broadband providers. He frequently spoke at industry training seminars for CFOs.
Beyond his professional career, Wade is a licensed private pilot, classical guitarist, and former triathlete. From 1998 to 2018, he competed in over 70 triathlons, including eight full Ironman races and the 2004 Ironman World Championship in Kona.
