Participants will get to experience the beautiful sights of the Rhône and Saône rivers while aboard the brand-new Amadeus Provence, set to depart from Lyon on October 13, 2020. Over the next 10 days, travelers will experience first-hand the fascinating history and captivating charm of the cities lining the Grand Rhône’s banks during guided tours and free time for exploring. At Lyon, the Rhône and Saône rivers “kiss” and together they become the Grand Rhône as it rolls along to Arles and onto the Mediterranean Sea. The 500-mile-long Rhône-Saône river winds its way through picturesque Provence and the heart of French wine country with breathtaking vistas and splendid views of small French villages, famous vineyards, UNESCO World Heritage sites, architectural masterpieces and papal palaces.
