About Muhammad M:

Muhammad Algarhy, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Area of Management at the Rawls College of Business, Texas Tech University. With more than 25 years of combined professional and academic experience across four countries, he brings a global and practice-driven perspective to entrepreneurship and business growth.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Ph.D. in business administration from Texas Tech University. His research focuses on entrepreneurship in resource-constrained environments, including necessity entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and emancipatory entrepreneurship.

Beyond academia, Dr. Algarhy has co-founded two startups, won a national business plan competition, and secured a $200,000 government grant. He regularly mentors entrepreneurs and students, helping them leverage emerging tools—especially AI—to identify opportunities, scale efficiently, and create sustainable value.
