Enjoy a live jazz quartet! Join us to discover the evolution of jazz styles from the Swing era to present. Although jazz may be perceived as a unified genre of music, there are actually many substyles within jazz that include swing, bebop, cool, modal, hard bop, soul jazz, jazz-rock fusion, contemporary, and so forth. We will explore the evolution of jazz styles, including the main jazz innovators and social trends that fostered each style.
