Ribbon Cutting - National Community Health Center Week Celebration

Lubbock will be joining thousands of communities throughout the U.S. recognizing National Health Center Week 2017 with a ceremony 10 a.m. August 14 at the Larry Combest Community Health and Wellness Center, 301 40^th St. The week celebrates the innovative work of community health centers to provide expert primary and family care, disease prevention and chronic disease management.
 
The most important aspect of community health centers’ contribution to society is to provide access to affordable, high quality health care to medically vulnerable and underserved people throughout the U.S.
