Science Spectrum Museum announces their participation in Our World: Worldwide Day of Play on September 27th, 2025. As a day dedicated to experiencing joyful learning through play, this event is focused on getting kids and their families up, out, and playing around. Join Worldwide Day of Play right here in Lubbock, Texas! There’s no better place to play than the Science Spectrum on September 27th from 10am-2pm! This event will showcase all types of play! Enjoy imaginative play in the Lubbock Children’s Museum, physical play in the Science of Sports Exhibit, and constructive play with numerous hands on STEAM activities. Science Spectrum’s Day of Play will feature: Giant Chess, Checkers, and Kerplunk Outdoor sports and giant bubbles Learn how resident Science Spectrum animals play Cup Stacking Stomp Rockets KEVA Plank Building Challenges Crafts throughout the museum And MORE!
