OUR WORLD: WORLDWIDE DAY OF PLAY September 28th, 2024 Global play event presented by Nickelodeon and the Association of Children’s Museums Science Spectrum Museum announces their participation in Our World: Worldwide Day of Play on September 28th, 2024. As a day dedicated to experiencing joyful learning through play, this event is focuses on getting kids and their families up, out, and playing around. Join Worldwide Day of Play right here in Lubbock, Texas! There’s no better place to play than the Science Spectrum on September 28th from 10am-2pm! This event will showcase all types of play! Enjoy imaginative play in the Lubbock Children’s Museum, physical play in the Science of Sports Exhibit, and constructive play with numerous hands on STEAM activities. This event and special activities will be included with standard museum admission. Free admission for Science Spectrum members and discounted admission under the Museums for All program with a valid SNAP EBT card. Our World: Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon’s Our World global initiative to inspire kids and provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency. As part of a network of more than 300 ACM member children’s museums who reach millions of families in North America, and the more than 1,000 museums participating in Museums for All, a national access initiative that ACM manages, Science Spectrum Museum is a vital collaborator in the Our World: Worldwide Day of Play.
