Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Assistant to join our team in Lubbock. This role involves building, testing, packing, and repairing submersible turbines and motors. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for operating a forklift and supporting warehouse and production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble submersible turbines and motors according to specifications.
- Test equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Pack finished products securely for shipment.
- Repair and refurbish submersible turbines and motors as needed.
- Operate forklift to move materials and products within the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures during all operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals.
- Deliver products to customer locations whenever the need arises.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in mechanical assembly or repair work preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks.
